We at The Love Lane Brewing Company are committed to protecting your personal data and information. This policy applies to any personal information or data that we collect from you. We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and we comply with all data protection laws including The GDPR – General Data Protection Regulations and also any regulations made under or to supplement the above, relating to the personal information that we collect about you.

What Data We Collect and Why:

Marketing:

We only collect your data only when access is given to us from you from either our mailing list cards, wifi usage, sign up via our website or when you make a booking or reservation for our restaurant, brewery tours or events. We collect data to send you relevant, targeted emails of offers, deals and promotions to ensure we waste as little of your time as possible. The actual data that we collect can include up to but no more than: your name, email, birthday and postcode. We do not sell the data that has been collected on you. We will not hold your information any longer than necessary and have specific retention policies for data collected through different channels.

Improvement:

Your data will also be used for our own improvement as a brand. We will use your data to create customer profiles to better grow our customer base.

Our Legal Justification for Processing Your Data:

We collect and process your data to comply with our legal obligations to protect your data and others.

Who Else Receives Your Data?

Currently, no Third Parties receive your data as it is all processed in house.

Your Rights in Terms of Our Data:

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold on you to have any inaccuracies corrected. We have up to 30 days to provide you with the information you require only if adequate documentation of your identity of provided. (Passport, Driving Licence, A Utility Bill from the past 3 months.) You have a right as a customer to lodge a complaint with the DPA if you feel your data has been misused in any way. You lastly have a right to withdraw from our services at any point and have all data on you erased upon request.

Is There an Age Limit to Who We Can Contact?

If you are under the age of 18, you should obtain your parents’ or guardians’ permission before you contact us – this is simply because of the nature of some of our products (such as alcohol) we have a legal obligation to check you are over 18.

Keeping Your Information Private:

Your information will be kept private and confidential, except where we are obliged/permitted to share it with third parties by law (e.g. Government bodies, law enforcement and similar). We will retain your information within our organisation, except: At your request: If you have requested that we share the information with you or have given your permission OR To fulfil our contractual/similar obligations to you.

How Our Data is Kept Safe:

We go the greatest lengths possible to ensure that your data is kept as safe as possible through a number of ways: Limiting the number of employees that have access to your data, having anti virus security installed in every computer that has access to your data, Shredding all physical copies of your data once is uploaded into our database.
Changes To Our Privacy Statement:
This privacy statement is in effect as of the date noted at the top of the statement.  We may change this privacy statement from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version here and change the “last updated date” (the date it applies from) at the top of the statement.  You should check here regularly for the most up-to-date version of the statement.
